'Inconsolable' Ariana Grande and supportive mum Joan arrive in the US where boyfriend Mac Miller greets her with a kiss
The singer, who narrowly escaped being caught up in the Manchester bombing, has left the UK for her LA home.
Ariana Grande has been spotted arriving back in the United States hours after narrowly avoiding the Manchester bombing at her gig last night.
Dressed in a black hoodie, leggings and sneakers, the 23-year-old singer looked upset as she descended the stairs of her private jet at Boca Raton airport in Florida.
She was greeted on the runway by boyfriend Mac Miller, who gave her a kiss and a big hug before she got into an awaiting car.
Ariana was joined by mum Joan Grande, who has been praised on social media today after it emerged she'd helped a group of young fans to safely when an explosion rocked the Manchester Arena last night.
Wrapped up in a dark coat and sunglasses, Joan appeared purposeful as she followed her famous daughter off the plane.
It's thought the private jet used by Ariana to leave the UK was donated by her friend Taylor Swift, who had earlier tweeted to send the 22 victims and scores of injured her best wishes.
"My thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight. I'm sending all my love," she posted.
It came after reports claimed Ariana was preparing to get home to Los Angeles and safety, as it emerged she blames herself for the atrocity.
The young singer, who escaped the blast by minutes after finishing her performance at the Manchester Arena, is said to be "inconsolable" over what happened.
RadarOnline claims the Side To Side star is devastated by the atrocity, which left 22 people left and scores more injured.
"She is heading back home to Los Angeles," said a source close to Ariana.
The insider added that the singer is "blaming herself" for the events of the evening, which was reflected in her first tweet sent hours after the bomb exploded.
"Broken," she tweeted in the early hours of this morning. "From the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words."
As Ariana has now left the UK, it will put a question mark over the future of her Dangerous Woman tour.
She was due to perform at London's O2 Arena this Thursday and Friday, but as yet no decisions have been made about cancelling or postponing her performances.
Last night, reports by TMZ claimed that the singer had suspended her world tour indefinitely, but today, the O2's official Twitter revealed that no decision had been finalised and told fans they would be updated as soon as possible.
In a tweet, the official page for the venue said: “Ariana is due to perform at The O2 on Thursday and Friday and we will advise as soon as we can as to the status of those shows.”
Hours later, they added: “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the terrible tragedy in Manchester. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected and their families.
"We are in contact with the promoters of Ariana Grande’s tour and will update as soon as we have further information regarding the planned dates at The O2.
"Anyone visiting The O2 should allow extra time for enhanced security checks."
"Grande and her team are focused now on the victims and haven't assessed whether to play the remaining shows," Billboard reported.
After Ariana's raw tweet this morning, fans quickly flooded her post with messages of support, insisting the attack was not the singer’s fault.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton assured her: “This is not your fault. Don't internalize any guilt. We are all hurting. Much love.”
Meanwhile, three of the 22 victims to have lost their lives in the terror attack have been named.
Three victims of the concert bombing have been named so far.
The first was a college student and Ariana superfan Georgina Callander, 18, who was studying health and social care in Lancashire.
Georgina had been pictured meeting with Ariana two years ago and spoke at the time of the joy she’d received talking to her idol. Actor Sean Maguire, and YouTubers Joe Sugg and Tyler Oakley had earlier paid tribute to Georgina, who they had also met in the past.
Eight-year-old Saffie Roussos and John Atkinson, 26, were named as the second and third victims to have died in the attack.
Saffie had gone to the concert with her older sister and mother but was not seen after the attack. Her parents had released a picture of her earlier in a desperate plea for help.
John has been described as an “amazing young man” and “beautiful” soul in tributes posted to social media.
Ariana and her touring crew were physically unharmed in the attack but her drummer Aaron Spears told a Fox 5 DC journalist that the "painful memory" of the incident would live on forever.
